The redevelopment’s main objective was to better accommodate the ongoing educational needs of its students.
The lighting intent emphasise the architectural features and a unique experience throughout the building, playing with lighting colour, temperatures, and effects. The design provides functional lighting with attention to glare control and comfort.
The new buildings will enhance the standard of facilities, ensuring the school will continue to meet; the frequently evolving requirements of the community, changes in education demands and contemporary educational curriculum.
The design adopts a contemporary architectural expression which compliments and directly responds to the adjacent site and heritage listed Mandeville Hall, with a palette of materials including textured concrete, grey cementitious cladding and metal screening.
