RACV Cape Schanck Resort

A first-class development, RACV Cape Schanck Resort is a standout resort comprising 5 levels of curving structure inspired by the coastline.

Lighting has been carefully integrated within the interior design to create a seamless installation.

The large and open spaces were to be lit using discreet lighting to enhance the experience not create any unnecessary visual clutter.

The lighting was designed to highlight the structure and form of the spaces and not detract from the stunning architecture.

The curves and various textures are all illuminated which provides 90% of the general indirect light. Curves of the architecture are highlighted which gives the space a subdued illuminated sculpture like appearance.

Where additional lighting was required this was carefully concealed and detailed with super low glare fittings.

The overall ambience was created by using a flattering colour temperature throughout the project and ensuring the warm finishes were highlighted.

The overall look is of a clean seamless, welcoming space with accents to the structural features.
