We worked closely with Lovell Chen to ensure the lighting was flexible and functional but did not impeded on the newly restored architecture. The spaces were illuminated using Erco lighting and track to allow for general lighting but with also the flexibility for art lighting. High CRI fittings with various lenses were used to enable the university to move and amend the lighting to suit the various artworks and installations.

The beautifully restored heritage interiors and exteriors were purposefully not over illuminated to allow for the architecture to speak for itself. All areas of the Old Quad have a lighting control system to allow for various changes of scenes from function, exhibition mode and conference mode to allow the spaces to be used for a variety of activities.
