DESCRIPTION
Kowarthanan’s (Kobe) lighting career started when he worked as a freelancer for a Lighting Design project for Kinderland in Caspian Water front Mall, Baku. After working as an Architectural Coordinator in Muscat for five years Kobe moved to Australia to kick start his career in lighting. Kobe comes from an architectural background which gives an extra pair of eyes to the team from an Architectural perspective. As a main design documenter Kobe’s priority is quality, consistency and attention to detail which is key to all Glowing Structures documentation. Working on designs from initial concepts through to fully detailed CAD drawings, technical luminaire specifications and precise budgets.

Joining our team in 2023 Marika is a skilled architect with a passion for lighting design. With an architecture degree from Italy and years of experience in various architectural firms in Barcelona, they have established themselves as a valuable asset to the industry.
Their first encounter with lighting design was 7 years ago while working at a reputable lighting firm in Barcelona. Since then, they have worked on a diverse range of projects, including retail, residential, restaurant, landscape, hospital, and more. However, their expertise lies in luxury hotels, landscaping, and restaurants.
Throughout their career, they have had the opportunity to work on over 30 projects, where they played a pivotal role in every aspect of the creative process. Their experience in site direction and commissioning has allowed them to ensure each project’s success, delivering top-quality results every time.
With a keen eye for detail and a passion for creating unique and memorable experiences through design, she is an architect who brings creativity, innovation, and excellence to every project they work on.
