DESCRIPTION
Lou completed her architecture degree in the Philippines and practiced in a young architecture firm for a couple of years, with experience in residential and commercial projects. She completed her post-graduate studies in Lighting Design from the University of Technology Sydney (UTS) in Australia alongside doing an internship in a high-end lighting manufacturer. Eventually, she moved into the consultancy space when she joined a lighting design firm.
She also dabbled in running her own architecture, and design-build projects while integrating lighting design in those projects. Her combined experience in architecture and construction contributed to her knowledge in design and project management. This diverse background gave her a unique understanding and approach to lighting design from the lens of another design field.
