The designer’s intent was to use light and dynamic shadow as a medium to provide an additional level of detail within the modern architecture.
The lighting design installation provides the double height space with a mobile sculpture without detracting from the clean lines of the architecture. The sculpture acts as a visual interest in the space whilst the luminaries where chosen and positioned to light the sculpture, create interesting shadows and for effective visitor wayfinding.
The combination of luminaires and the sculpture itself have been the tool used to create an animated interesting experience within a large open area.
