DESCRIPTION
Adams’ background in both Interior Design and Lighting Design allows him to respond creatively to both aesthetic and functional aspects of spatial design. His international experience designing in London for more than four years has added a further dimension to his extensive design expertise.
Adam has extensive knowledge of the lighting product market and is involved in all stages of the design process including concept, design presentation, development, equipment selection, cost planning and lighting control system applications.
He places a strong emphasis on energy conservation and how it can be used to maximise area efficiency as a fundamental part of the design solution. This expertise enables him to deliver considered, durable lighting outcomes that respond to both client intent and user experience.
Adam has received numerous meritorious awards of excellence from the Illuminating Engineering Society at both state and international levels in various categories, including; Retail, Commercial, Residential and External spaces.
His experience across the built environment, spanning both historical and contemporary contexts, demonstrates an ability to respond thoughtfully to a wide range of spatial conditions.
An eclectic mix of creative thinking and technical understanding allows him to develop lighting concepts that complement and elevate a client’s vision.
