The designer’s intent was to highlight the interior design and architecture whilst creating a hotel like ambience for a multi residential project. The clean and modern lines of the building were picked up by the use of various concealed effects of lighting.
The communal areas were designed to create a welcoming ambience. To conform to tight budget restrictions, approximately forty per cent of the original budget was reduced by Glowing Structures when we were appointed.
At the time of the briefing we were provided an lighting layout to ‘review’ but during the process Glowing Structures redesigned the scheme to achieve the budget by changing the luminaires to light the focal points only, creating areas of contrast and visual interest.
