678 Victoria St Foyer
Though already an A-grade commercial office building, the owner, Salta Properties, sought to upgrade the internal presentation of this building to a new standard of refinement.
Glowing Structures was commissioned to design a bespoke feature for the triple height lobby space. After presenting numerous ideas to the client the simplistic idea of the rings was decided upon. The colours and tones of the metals were carefully co-ordinated with the architects ( Teckne) to ensure they worked with the beautiful upgrades to the interiors.
The “Up, Down, In, Out” as we named it is so called after the different positions of the light sources within the rings. This was intended so that the passers-by had differing views of the intentionally visible light sources as they moved up the floors.
The lighting to the rest of the lobbies and foyer was kept simplistic and minimal to really let the Up, Down, In, Out pendant be the instant feature in the lobby.
